An online art competition with a dedicated Artists category. Professional, self-taught, hobbyist — if art is your practice, this is your stage. Compete with fellow artists, not students. Certificate for every entry. No entry fee — closes 1 August 2026.
Artists-only category — you compete with fellow artists, not students or corporate participants. The judging standard reflects artistic practice.
No credential gate — no degree, no portfolio review, no gallery representation needed. Self-taught and hobbyist artists are equally welcome.
Monthly themes — a new creative prompt each month. Many artists use it as a regular discipline — a reason to create something new.
Certificate and recognition — Certificate of Participation for every entry. Winners get prizes and gallery feature.
Cause-based platform — Art for Awareness is a cause-driven initiative, not a commercial gallery. Your art contributes to a larger conversation.

I'm self-taught with no formal training. Can I enter the Artists category?
Yes. There is no credential requirement. If art is your serious practice or passion — trained or self-taught — this category is for you.
Can I submit work I've already created?
We encourage original work inspired by the monthly theme, but there is no policing of creation date. Submit your best piece that speaks to the theme.
Do I retain copyright?
Yes. You retain full copyright. By submitting, you grant Art for Awareness a non-exclusive licence to display the artwork on our website and gallery with credit.
