What is the World Environment Day Drawing Competition?

Every year on 5 June, the world celebrates World Environment Day — a UN-recognised day to focus on protecting our planet. Art for Awareness hosts a free, nationwide online drawing & painting competition timed with the day, open to every age group from kindergarten to senior citizens. There is no entry fee, no hidden charges, and every single participant receives a downloadable digital Certificate of Participation.

The competition is judged within 16 grade-based categories, so a Class 3 student only competes with other Class 3 students, a Class 10 with Class 10, college with college, adults with adults. This keeps it fair and motivating for every artist. Top 3 in each category win cash prizes and a Winner Certificate.

• Schools, teachers, and coordinators can submit bulk entries for entire classes

How to submit your environment day drawing online

1. Draw or paint on any A4 sheet, chart paper, canvas, or digital tablet. Any medium works — pencil, crayon, watercolour, acrylic, oil, digital.
2. Take a clear photo of your finished artwork. Good lighting, no shadows, full artwork visible.
3. Click "Submit Artwork" on our home page.
4. Fill in your details — name, age or grade, school name, city, state.
5. Upload the photo. You get an instant confirmation email.
6. Wait for results on 5 June 2026. Certificate emailed automatically.
